... place here breeds and rehabilitates the monkeys and reintroduces them to the wild. Lovely weather again, and beautiful in the forest. Thought we would then drive the 15mins up the hill to the Haute Konigsberg castle for lunch. We had a picnic lunch we had bought with us. An hour and a half later we parked the car. However, there was a fortified castle and town here since before Roman times. The town is really well kept and is beautiful. We are staying at the Auburge Alsacienne, itself a 16th century building. Great room with a great view over the street. Wandered around, had another ...

... to start off our afternoon by eating Turkish. Try ordering Turkish in France with English and see what you get! It was quaint and the food was tasty. The French lived up to their name with each interaction abrupt and quite rude. There were no nice shop keepers. We decided to do the Little White Train audio tour to get a quick lay of the land. This saw us weaving through all the streets of Colmar and trying to work out which building ...
