... an hour's drive to a coastal campsite on the Mediterranean next to Perpignan. I had originally thought I would travel up the coast sampling the joys of the South of France but when I came to look at the campsites available they all looked horrible. Most of them proudly advertised that they were 'large family campsites with disco's, live entertainment and endless facilities for children'. This isn't my thing so I decided to visit one which ...

They are all exactly the same except for the name..the funniest of which was called 'Benicarlo'! I kid you not, the name of this place is an amalgamation of Benidorm and Montecarlo, which presents two possibilities. It is either going to be **** but expensive, or good but cheap. Either way I don't want to find out. Luckily things improved as we neared our destination ...

One of the best we have stopped at.The village itself has been carefully restored and the kids have the bees knees sports facilities most kids just dream of! It's ...

A travel blog entry by stuandamanda on May 11, 2015

... the fact we could still hear them swearing. Two. Large groups of lads wouldn't congregate on the beach to gawp at the topless babes as it would be like trying to look at page three over the shoulder of guy who was sat reading The Sun in a bus shelter and you were stood behind him on the other side of the scratched and filthy glass - and it was raining. Three. It was no use trying to lie on the beach sunbathing, even though some still tried, as the fret obscured the sun, ...

Still in Languedoc Region. Aire not signed and nearly missed. Great Aire. Spotless toilet with loo papar! Water and loo emptying. But waste diff. Drain at entrance to reverse over. Now it's not the done thing to say that a holiday can be pants at times but today is just that. After a great days initial riding Clive mentioned Biorhythms. "You have a double crossover". Some of you know I take note of such things and the Dog chasing episode (physically bad) last evening ...
