... Seine. To do this we needed to catch the Metro to a station near the Eiffel Tower, which involved about 4 trains. All was going very well and I may have even uttered a boast, when we caught the wrong train (obviously Annie's fault). ... a few obligatory snaps of the lower areas surrounding the beast. We get our tickets, which also allows us to skip the huge line for level one. Up few go, and a mere 58 metres later we are on level one. A few more snaps and we go to the restaurant a bit early, so to kill time we climb the 314 stairs to the second level. ... me very uncomfortable. After that i picked up my bags from the village hostel and off to gard du nord. The train was quick and efficient and the terminal at Charles du Gaulle easy to navigate. I had a bit of a panic for getting to my plane on time. Ended up running to the gate but everything worked put fine. Icelandic air is nice, free drinks on the flight. That brings us to to where i am now, i'll write once i'm in iceland!!! Wahoo ...

The tour was worth the 6.50 euro as we went down some cobblestone side streets I have never seen and I saw a few different cafes off the beaten path I will certainly try this weekend.
