... is a better looking river than the Thames. Cleaner looking, cuter bridges and possibly because it is narrower. We walk across the first bridge onto an island and continue to the second larger island. We are met by magnificence. The best ROS yet seen, Notre Dame Cathedral. We walk around the outside of it marvelling at the beauty and the grandeur of this 8-900 year old building. More on this when we go inside it. We wander around the beautiful garden de Jean xxiii beside ...

Long story short, dinner was excellent. Monica ordered a salmon tartare which was really good and I ventured WAY out of my comfort zone and ordered chicken and mashed potatoes. In addition to our main courses, we finished with a small cheese plate. Ending the meal with a cheese plate was ...

... tourist look; big DSLR camera with a sunhat and day pack.

Lunch was at a sandwich stall around the fountain at St. Michel metro (Latin quarter). We joined a free walking tour advertised at the hostel. It was interesting and informative (assuming that the information they tell us is real). We walked for just over 3 hours around the area. We passed by the Pont Neuf, Shakespear and Co. bookshop, The Louvre, Jardin ...
