The next week is a break in travelling for us, and we see both of our families, attend my brother's wedding and check in with Jonny’s 3 month old niece over the 4 days we spend in England. We fly back to France overnight before a swift 3 day visit to Jersey to see friends who moved there just over a year ago.

When we return by ferry to St Malo on the 8th May, we feel exhausted and a little fed up of eating and drinking, so we settle in for an early ...
