    ... started to rain.there were two very miserable looking marshals standing in the road sheltering under umbrellas. It did not stop the cyclists from toiling up the hill past our house, rather them than me! The race was completed before our guests arrived, so the alternative routes were not required.     ... us that only the crepe suzette was available. I did not bother, a good choice as it turned out! Everyone else has the crepe suzette. Crepe seems to have been the operative word!
