... Secondly it contains a majestic black stoned cathedral dating from Roman times which was almost as impressive as Notre Dame in Paris, and thirdly it scored Emma some long anticipated, and relatively serious, fashion shopping.

We have a big day tomorrow with a long drive followed by a critical midnight train rendezvous, but this "rest" day turned out to be pretty eventful and really fun.

... it's reputed to have over 100 kilometres of catacombs underneath it.And you can visit them...but not today you can't!!!
I'm getting towards the end of my trip now, perhaps another 600 miles over the next week or so. I'll be happy to not have to ride the bike for a while.....

... bit noisy....So much so the Police got called, they were all very nice chaps so they escorted us back to our hotel, which was very good of them considering they were busy looking for someone with a gun....And when we got up in the morning to leave town they were there to escort us out. How about that for service...

So that's it really, just a pleasant day on the road...
