I managed a short run this morning which was nice. New shoes are fast! We went to the outdoor flea market as it was rained out last week. I was surprised that Caleb was game until he equated the market with where I got him World Cup cards the week before. He twisted my arm until we went and got more. Out of the first 2 packs or 12 cards we got six doubles - boo hoo. There was a fellow with a big truck making rotisserie chickens and ...

... to 21 points. Caleb drew an 11 year old girl for his for his match. His opponent had lots of supporters in the crowd. As the match progressed the supporters mouths started to drop open one by one a Caleb was taking command of the game. The girls father started giving intense instructions as he saw what was going down. Nothing could help here as Caleb was victorious 21-16!!! I faced Caleb two more times and on the way home Caleb saying that other fathers ...

We started the day (yes late morning again - Caleb is still noting that the time change from Vancouver is still effecting him) by seeing that our market was indeed on today. Well then more fish and vegetables and a yummy breakfast. We visited the small town of Chamalieres which is basically a 'suburb' of Clermont. We wandered towards the biggest green space we could see on the map which ended up being a nice park where their city hall is located. There are some fountains to which ...

... are in the blood...hmm. Caleb and Christine enjoyed How to Train Your Dragon 2 at the cinema. I took the time to try my new running shoes out. Caleb and I then went to play some more Pètèca at Sable Show. Kassim and his cousin were there and played too. I seem to have landed funny and hyperextended my left knee. Why not have another body part that aches :) Sleepy ...

... hope that is an okay use for mini totem poles? Our third turn brought us to a more advanced play park which was more like an obstacle course. It turned into the Feats of Strength part of the day. Sleek and light as a feather Caleb made his way across the rather high monkey bar portion on his second attempt. I attempted a few times and realized supporting my own weight and swinging is not that ...
