    ... Kms to the top when I came around a bend and found the gang waiting at the sign. At this point Gilles left us. The rest of the day was primarily downhill with a stop to visit the Chappelle de la Trinite, which is .a gorgeous little chapel in a tiny village. The first church was erected on the site in the 9 th century. The current building was started in the 13th century, and the altar dates from the 1700s. I have included some pictures.     ... grab a bite. We then climbed the next two cols at 1099m and 1256m. At the bottom of those cols, Steve and Gilles decided that they had expended their gas tanks, so I went on to do the Col de Jau myself. I made it to the top at 5:30 and had a nice run out to Prades. We had a dinner in a local pizza place which was excellent. I was so tired I could hardly see, and I do not think I was the only one.
