... town of Molsheim with its lovely houses and beautiful churches and town centre. France is so pretty and its a shame we are going to rush now but you can't see everything or you'd be here for years not months. We have certainly enjoyed what we have seen so we will be satisfied with that. As soon as we hit colder weather I got a cold and its hanging on for dear life so it suits to be travelling towards England. Last few days in our Beast. A bit sad ...

... we let him guide us into rural France. Within five minutes we were on a motorway though, to be fair, only briefly. We then proceeded through the countryside at a stately pace. Nowhere was remarkable, but it was enjoyable enough. A refill of Wanda's wine cellar en-route was refreshingly cheap. At one stage Mr GPS went nuts and sent us along a narrow single track road for several miles, with not a single passing ...

... or so - easy drive really as it was all dual carriageway (thank heavens, no having to turn left or right......). Next stop just outside Metz for a traditional service station french lunch...............Pizza!! I will say it was cooked fresh and was actually very nice, just the job. Roof up for the last leg of the today's journey - was a bit concerned about Mr R getting sunstroke on the head and was good to have ...
