    We explored Colmar in a little train ( like you see at fetes) . The driver managed to get stuck on a corner, but after some expert advice we were on our way. Petite Venice is just perfect. Lots of colourful houses along canals. We did get a little lost in the maze of streets and alleys, made it to the bus on time. We then travelled about 1hour to Strasbourg.     ... which is 160m high. It was just beautiful. We all enjoyed a Belgium beer on the bus this afternoon thanks to Werry who wanted us to try a "ladies beer"........it had a strawberry flavour to it. Very nice. Our drive through the forest eventually led us across the border into France to Colmar where we spend tonight before more site seeing and another hotel tomorrow ...
