John made the tea and we had a lazy start to the day, Isi typing up yesterday's blog and John reading before getting up.
It was then setting the washing machine going again as we wanted to wash our bedding as well as the spare bedding that was used. We needed our summer duvet on last night for the first time in weeks and as it showed only 9° this morning outside, we were not surprised.

Everyone was up, breakfast eaten and tent down and we cast off at 9.25.
We had decided to go out for a "Plat de Jour" once we got to Epinal so time was of the essence. All was going reasonably well except all the locks were full and so we had to wait for all but 1 to empty first, so that took extra time. Then we had a lock that showed us red and green lights but did not empty, so we moored up for John ...
