Amboise is in a good central location for visiting the chateaux of the Loire River valley. The Hotel Bellevue is in a wonderful location for sightseeing around Amboise. We had a very nice room with a terrace that we shared with 4 other rooms. Breakfast was good, the staff was friendly and they had a nice bar/restaurant. We found the hotel listed in the Rick Steves Guide book.

... bathroom with a shower. Pretty great, to be honest! We settled in and then had dinner at a local restaurant, La Commerce. They are providing us with lunch and dinner every day-- and so far it has been amazing! I fell asleep instantly at like 8pm when I laid down and woke up at 8am today.. haha Take that, jet lag! I think I'm pretty well adjusted with just that one transition day. We are six hours ahead here compared to home!
