Today In the morning we had a morning swim. The water was cold. yesterday we went to the poy du fou and it was phenominal. They were trying to act the ww1 and ww2, they did very good. At the poy du fou there were translators that can also change to the radio and I got to keep my one. We are staying at a miniature hotel.

When we returned to our room, we turned on the TV (something we have not done in past years) to hear the weather. Oh my goodness. Paris is going to be boiling hot when we get there. ... old part of town. We take a scenic walk around the towers, parks and the buildings of the oldest part of town. We also have a look through a WWII German bunker built towards the end of the war - interesting. We have lunch and the it's time for the harbour tour. We head out from the nice calm inner harbour, past the two towers, have a look at the marina along the way where there appears to be tens of thousands of yachts moored (MIGHT be ...

Having left Brugge, we drove as far as we could into France using the Autoroutes where deemed neccessary. After a good few hours of driving and still 4 hours to our house, we stopped off for the night south of Tours. We rose relatively early, in yet more drizzle, to drive to our friends Paul & Karen for lunch before the last and final hour to home.

Opening the gates revealed our own version of the 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' which will no doubt take a ...
