    Misty and colder today. A longer journey of 178 miles to this campsite but we left at 8.30 unfortunately getting lost round Rouen so not arriving until 2 p.m. However, there safely and glad to be so. We were on Pitch 24 on the lower part of the campsite and right opposite the river. We were surprised to find that it was really busy but of course it also is a good distance ...

    ... to have somewhere in Veules-les-Roses. We walked around a village trail that we had walked around last time we were here seeing the shortest river in France and the lovely old houses re-enacting pictures we took last time so we can see a bit of before and after. We sat at the edge of the river, just near the source to have our lunch. Its great to be back on the baguettes as the rolls around the rest of Europe ...

Soon enough we crossed into Belgium and it probably only took us 30-40 minutes to drive through and the highlight undoubtedly was the large naked one eyed giant standing on top of some forklifts, obviously as some form of advertising.     ... 250km away. Arrived safe and sound at Cite Europe to stock up and cheap wine n beer (for when the relies come over fom Aus ;-). And off to the port we go, as usual in search of fuel but after several roundabouts and no diesel for camping cars we decided sod it, let's just get there!
