      Stella Plage

A travel blog entry by johndibbo on Nov 21, 2014

This is south of Le Touquet Plage! En route yesterday we lunched at Fort Mahon Plage, a huge aire with free water and vid angle facilities but the whole place seemed closed, a ghost town almost! No photos as they move too quickly for our ...

Didn't think it appropriate to stop and take pictures of people with guns. Subsequently came across several other groups who were also shooters, though these were also wearing distinctive orange vests. Sunday obviously not a day for a walk in the woods.

      Last campsite before home

A travel blog entry by dancingboots on Sep 24, 2014

Misty and colder today. A longer journey of 178 miles to this campsite but we left at 8.30 unfortunately getting lost round Rouen so not arriving until 2 p.m. However, there safely and glad to be so. We were on Pitch 24 on the lower part of the campsite and right opposite the river. We were surprised to find that it was really busy but of course it also is a good distance ...
