... on the train and got a kick out of the French name on my coca cola light I opted for instead of coffee. When I got to the port, I couldn't miss the boat and literally shrieked at the sight. I sat on a bench to wait for them when UK (Uncle Ken, also my godfather) walked off the ship smiling, waving and shouting, "Bonjour Madame!" in an accent that rivals his karaoke skillz. It was the best sight ever. He took me to my parents and we couldn't stop ...

... see Mont Ventoux in the distance - we had a little giggle, while Oliver had a little tear at the thought! (Especially when he had a closer look through the binoculars!)
Helena took some lovely photos with her new camera, we had a cold drink in a cafe and a wander up to the old church.
Once home, we were so hungry! Bread, cheese and pate. Yum!
Then an afternoon in the pool. It's 26 degrees in the water according to ...

... pumpkin pie (compliments of Laura), several deserts, vegetables etc. I also made my serpentini au fromage again. The evening ended with some beautiful music on the guitar.

Two days later, Laura hosted a house warming party at her place. She invited many of the other assistants from some of the neighboring towns, as well as some French people we have met here in Montelimar. The party was a great success and we ended ...
