... a lovely late lie in meant plans were changed. It also turned out to be a glorious day so we took advantage of a tan top up opportunity and lazed one off in the sunshine! Leftover barbecue for lunch and leftover curry for dins made it a day of minimal effort too! Jon did the hard work of packing up the awning whilst I showered to ensure an early departure in the morning. ...

It was cold outside so we didn't feel too bad leaving Prego a little longer whilst we browsed. We did a "big shop" then headed back to camp. Lovely girl on reception spoke great English. We chose pitch 52 and Jon got set up in the rain whilst I sorted bits. Unlimited electric and water, free wifi ...

... up the risk of standing in front of a car with 60 year old brakes. Both survived but only just.

Then it was our turn and we pulled out onto the pit straight, under the vast stands, accelerating up tot eh Dunlop chicane, tribune and bridge, it was extremely slippery and I took it very easily as did those around us. Under the bridge and down the hill, left, right, left, right, tip toeing my way through the standing water. A final 90 degree right ...
