... were all lined up against the pit wall and their young pilots across the track waiting the instruction to run to their cars and start the race. Much chattering in French and the starter counts 5….4….3…2…̷ 0;…..several children (excited) at this point set off for their cars many did not, much confusion and chaos. A false start. Friday morning I had two calls to make from 8am and they took two hours hence I was late for breakfast, to be fair it was 10.15, it was more brunch than breakfast. I managed to swipe some remnants of croissant and ham with the hotel staff looking on but being very generous by not being French and declaring "Finished" which did happen later in the trip.
