... locations. In hindsight, one of the companies located at the Eiffel Tower would have been better since our hotel is closer, but this was ok too.

The Metro sounded like a great idea after all that walking so we hopped on at the Louvre and got off near the Arc de Triomphe. It had just started dripping and we had a nice short walk back to the hotel. Today we did around 11 miles, which is way too much and my legs, feet and back are ready for bed!

... so I doubt we missed anything to spectacular). We walked around Notradam (looking for a sneaky entrance) and admitting the carvings and statues on the outer walls. We saw some bells in the garden behind the church that we assumed must have been the original bells from the towers.

Waiter hands me the menu.
Me: Merci (Super convincing. Everybody now believes I am tres French.)

... announced to the full platform that all the last 5 services have been cancelled for the night, meaning we had to walk 5km + back to the hostel! Not the happiest we made our way back avoiding dodgy people and through the red light district catching a glimpse of the Moulin rouge before making it back by 2pm. Wednesday 25th - this morning we had a big sleep in after walking a good 15km yesterday and late night walk home. Today we went to the Royal armouries museum ...
