We started off our day with a trip to the metro station for a transport pass, a trip to the supermarket for provisions, and a trip to the boulangerie for breakfast.
Once we had wiped the pastry crumbs from our lips, we put our glad rags on for a day at the races. It was a bit of a hike via public transport, but we got there without any trouble.

... to the Eiffel Tower to view Paris at night from the second level of the tower. OMG I'm moving to Paris and dare I say it was again beautiful. The tower has a light show on the hour, it flashes strobe lights, we waited for the 11pm show then it was home to bed for a good nights sleep with Paris in my dreams. Today has been one of those pinch yourself days with so many famous landmarks visited and experienced....tomorrow we are off to Bordeaux...Aureviour gay Paree ...

... TV (English Channel) so that for the next hour he could instruct Paul and I on the rules of the apartment! Having survived our introduction we set off in search of the supermarket and a place for dinner. Maddie decided to dive head first into the French experience and ordered snails...which she then generously shared with the rest of us!
