    ... and there are 100 restaurants of which you can enjoy a meal. Our bus returned at 12.30 , after lunch we explored the little port where we moored Crude ex-en-caul ,I am afraid to say not much to excites here.We did have option to stay to 3.30 at Honfleur, perhaps that would have been better. We now will rest the remainder of the day with our books. Another lovely day in Normany, tonight we said for Paris with one more stop ...

    ... centres of interest :- A collection of religious objets d'art from the 15th and 16th centuries, displayed in a series of neo-gothic and neo-renaissance rooms, just as they were at the end of the 19th century.- A distillery in which the famous liquor is prepared.- A gallery of modern art.
    Throughout the palace bottles of Benedictine are hidden in the art. The Palace is now owned by Bacardi.

    I need not have worried.

    German lady moved, Workman 1, lit up a cigarette, sat on the towbar of the shredder and smoked. Workman 2, got his sandwiches out and proceeded to munch away. Workman 3, the driver, disappeared in the pickup and, returned, about 15 minutes later with coffees and more food.

    ... usual but happy to get on board. Smoothest crossing I've ever had. We had a whole quiet lounge to ourselves. Thanks DFDS! Longest disembarkation ever. 50 minutes and we were the very last car off. Someone has to be I suppose! Journey back home included an hour and a half on M25 crawling past Heathrow.
