NOTHING is open! The only reason we put Mulhouse on our itinerary was the car museum. It was Andrew and Alain's dream to visit this museum, one of the largest car collections in the world. YAWN! So Andrew and Alain headed off this morning to live out their fantasies and the rest of us walked into town to find some breakfast. We ended up at the railway station where we had petit dejeuner.....breakfast. Nothing else was open. Certainly no Sunday morning cafe culture ...
... kebabs on a plate with fries and salad and a red wine and Efes beer for Andrew! Yummo! And we didn't feel sick about the price either....bonus! Now for a coffee.......walking into the Old Town we saw a creperie and so had crepes and coffee for dessert!! I'm going to have to eat salad for the next week!! But then again.....I'm in France!! ... and welcoming. After dinner and some stories, it was time for the cheeses. We had six different varieties, including; munster with cumin, camembert and a special cheese that is only prepared twice a year (July and December).
