We found our accommodation remarkably easy, thanks to Ro's precision driving and some signs pointing us to it. We’re staying in a cabin in a camp ground on the river siene. The Eiffel tower can be seen from a window, but only just. Unfortunately I now have a cold, so Ro made dinner with our limited supplies and soon we were all in bed. Ro planned out our days in Paris and enjoyed having internet ...

... in there, there was a tv on blaring adverts in Spanish, and there were 2 people asleep. You had to walk through this room to the bathroom - which was pleasant and clean. After a drink in the bar - we showered and got into bed. We both slept well, and we were woken by the rest of the dorm getting up for what seemed to be work. Normandy Beaches

I waited out the rainy morning by sleeping late and only got started after noon, therefore I had a shorter day.

Today marks the beginning of several days cycling along the beaches in Normandy where the allies invaded on D-Day. Once I got going, the weather was pretty nice and I enjoyed the coastal riding and stopping to read the various information plaques. The main beach I saw today was Utah Beach.
