... a sheltered lagoon as we can see houses opposite and to the right linking this side to that, is a bridge. We had a bit a a walk at lunch time to get our barings, walking by hundreds of boats (the marina holds 1,600). ... River is a beautiful turquoise colour and there are heaps of places to camp and go swimming and bush walking along the canyon. The countryside is so peaceful and like Switzerland the wildflowers were out and insects lazily buzz around.
