... Australia and told us about his trip to Australia travelling around in one of the campervans. There was another company that operated a Ferry to Molene, but the Ferry didn't leave until 2pm. We decided to book tickets and come back on the 5:30pm Ferry. We spent the morning looking around Le Conquet and doing one of the walks around the town. Another day closer to the Raz'

... not much to see but it is a convenient stopping place. Found the fishmongers and picked up a lobster for dinner.

Next day wandered back into town and completed a bit more provisioning including buying another lobster, crab claws, languastines and oysters. Much much cheaper than eating out in the restaurants. We're leaving that for dishes we don't normally eat or cook.

Getting closer to Raz

... the end moored up on the visitors pontoon.

There are quite a number of British boats here either waiting for the right tides for which ever way the are going in or for the right wind conditions for going through the Chanel du Four. We are one of the latter - which currently looks like Thursday to be the best for us.

We wandered around the marina checked out the restaurant menus and then sat back in the cockpit doing not much - much like everyone else.

... the night in Camaret, a little seaside town which is really rather nice. I say 'the night'; we'll only be here until about 3am, as we have to leave very very early in order to get to the Raz de Sein, a tricky bit of coastline, within a certain half hour.

After that it'll be much less stressful sailing, and timing becomes less of an issue, so no more getting up in the middle of the night for a while!
