    On Saturday morning we packed up Lynn and Phil's house (well, to be fair, Lynn, Phil and Jackie did. I sort of hung around) in anticipation of the later arrival of the Caen apartment owners who did a house swap with Phil and Lynn.

    ... Silly Emily for once drove us right up to the entrance to the aire, which is also by a river under trees so it is very wet everywhere. However, for 5 euros per night we have a level gravelly spot with electricity so may have the heating on shortly.     ... It was a bummer, to say the least, when we found out that due to housing limitations, we had gender specific accommodations, which meant even the married couples would be staying in separate rooms. All in all, it was kind of nice to be anxious to see my glowing wife in the dining hall for breakfast in the morning.
