... Sustrans ranger , keeping an eye on the routes in his area. The hill out of Seaton went steeply up, but still rideable, then down into Beer, where the hill to Branscombe was huge and the 1in3 drop into the village and 1in3 up again even steeper. I'll keep saying this until I go blue, but there is nothing quite like the beauty on our own doorstep.

Today I went with my auntie down to a little place called Seaton. I can't say its forgotten because the local know its there. Seems like everyone else is more intent on Looe or Newquay, so I'll go with it's semi-forgotten.

The beach is dog friendly and although not rolling yellow sandy dunes, it is made of reasonably soft crushed ...

We stayed in Vegesack until our last day possible deciding that as the weather was so good and hot we would ensure we had a good rest. Not a problem about what to do, pleasant walks alongside the Weiser anytime we chose, a stroll into town for another excellent pizza and two large beers each this time. ... and then take the high path along the cliff face over to West Bay and return. We are to transport our camp down to the "beach", set up camp and then blaze the brazier for our scraps barbie later on. Yes it is a tad on the fresh side but we have enough wood and hot rocks to heat anyone within a radius of 50 metres.
