Up at 5.30 to wander across to the SIA check in counter, all too easy as they are just the best airline I have flown with. We were given passes to the Luthansa Louge as SIA do not have one there and it is what you would expect from a Business Class lounge.
Our highlight of the lounge was yes, it is correct, the …
... Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, Lauryn Hill and the Jackson 5. It was fast approaching 4pm leaving us only an hour before we met the parentals. We grabbed some groceries and headed home ready for a short rest with our feet up. We arrivec home to find only Greg in the lounge room. He reported that they had completed the two loops and that the others had gone off in search of some outlet stories that a lady on their tour bus had informed them about. Within 30mins the troops were ...
... to Naples (and by we I mean she, I wouldn't be caught dead driving a stick shift in Italy and think she is very brave). While we're there I'm going to visit friends in London, check out my top choice of grad school in Florence, see Pompeii, visit the Vatican after dark, and eat waaay too much food everywhere I go.

We stayed here 3 nights and the location is simply ideal. 400m to Times Square and basically in the middle of the Theatre district. Plenty of options for dining and shopping as well as sightseeing.
Nice little French wine bar on 8th around the corner named Lybane Wine Bar & Restaurant.
Would thoroughly recommend staying here.
