    ... me by a fellow pilgrim (the beauty of an iPad you can download books whenever you need one), and snoozed for about an hour. When we arrived in Doha at 11pm it was 36 degrees... We were processed reasonably quickly and headed up to the boarding gate. And who should I see as I'm walking along in a daze but Julee Scott from work, and her husband! They were taking the same flight as us. With only a 30 minute wait we were soon back on a plane with a 13 hour flight ahead of ...

    ... I know the risks and I also know the appalling time malarial medication gave me before. I have been castigated online on various forums (fora?) about this but I am old enough to make my own decisions and it is my choice not to take them. End of story.

    The Saffron is very different to other Indian restaurants where food is over-flavored, greasy, overcooked or too spicy. On the contrary, whatever I tried here was a challenge and so tempting.

    Day 1 - omg the apartment is huge!!!! Really big double bedroom, huge dining area/ kitchen and huge living room with a tv! 2 bathrooms, air conditioned.... Nice little kitchen..... Only two of us living here... Going to be here for 3 months tho then probably moving into an even bigger house with everyone and no wifi yet :( , but that's the only bad sides to the flat! Haha The people are really nice, James is my house mate, from Scotland, really nice guy who has 3 terabyte hard ...

    Beaches- there are ocean beaches here, you can come and swim in the ocean 5 minutes from the hotel.
