    ... colour and actors. The music and movement of the water were very well put together and it was enjoyable to sit (in the shade) and watch it.

    ... Le Signe du Triomphe, which was all about Roman times, housed in a colosseum type building holding thousands of spectators. The whole show was in French but it was so visually spectacular that we understood the gist of what was happening. The show included the use of live animals - horses, camels, buffalo, geese; but not so sure about including lions, tigers, leopards and hyenas.     Sunday morning in Blaye and early start at parking ticket expires at 08:08 and I wasn't sure if barrier would lift!
    Anyway there were spaces outside and breakfast in the morning sunshine was delightful.
    On to Super U supermarket in search of gas a my Spain cylinder had run out and I was on Irish reserve,

    ... done! I had a Post office Travel Card which I loaded with Euro's prior to leaving and this could be used to get cash or pay for items like a switch card.
