The place was definitely trying to take the idea of less is more to a new level, or had been inspired by a modern take on the minimalist open plan studio apartment. My shower had a serious danger of getting my bed wet. But at least I wasn't on my own for long as the cockroaches found a new home in my bag instead of my bed.

We saw a bus pull up and we handed the man outside our ticket. He stared at it, and then stared some more. We asked him if this was right and he nodded and we assumed so yet we still weren't walking onto the ...

... tandoori chicken between us for not much more than 3 pounds, plus some palak paneer. Again. And some cheese pakoras and papads for starters. Then we had a 'Hello to the queen', a Goan dessert we think, of banana, crumble and (melted) iced cream. And a coconut pancake. No wonder we felt so it was a lovely relaxing day where we just topped up our tans and lounged around quite blissfully.
