    Incredible India

... until 5 days after the event. And now that we feel our rickshaws are the best way to travel we are going to use them and cruise down the coast.

A few memorable sights and adventures have included:

    * pavagahr mountain temple where we joined 1000s of Indians, school kids and pilgrims on a hike up a mountain. Firs we got in a landcruiser with 25 others! Then caught a gondola half way up the mountain. We were the only westerners and spent the morning being asked ' ...

... you can find adventure if you want it here in Goa. Of course Eric and I did just that. I think today may have been the most fun and peaceful day I have ever had in my life! I'm not joking, it was perfect!! I did not expect to be to be driving through lush rain forests, to old Portuguese forts and Catholic Churches, to ocean-side cliffs We rented scooters our first day, and they arrived just after breakfast. Eric and I had a miscommunication, and he thought I had been ...

Kam and I sat on the beach and watched an Indian man stop and stare in to Dylans at all the English dancing. He was obviously in Goa on holiday and had never seen, a) this many white ...

    ... no forcing food down.

While Dan perked up with some boogie boarding, I also found the strength to get into the ocean a couple of times, which made me feel better, and to walk to the far end of the beach at sunrise, where, considering the cheek-by-jowl beach shacks on the crescent of sand, it is surprisingly remote. Rocks and trees at the end shelter birds; the hard sand is a great place to do yoga and I even did a few standing poses.

So after the train journey from hell we rock up at Palolem Beach.
We stayed at the Cafe Del Mar thinking that it would be a nice place to stay, definetly not owned by the say folk in Ibiza, Laur got Electricuted by the shower and the toilet leaked. What can you expect from a beach hut though. When we stumbled out onto the beach in the morning though we are greeted by one of the most beautiful beaches. For the first couple of days we just chilled ...
