... spent our time in the Lowenbrau tent on day 1 and to my surprise I was able to drink beer...and enjoy it! The opening ceremony was lots of arrive at some ungodly hour of the morning to secure a table, but then you have to wait until midday before they start serving beer. We spent day 2 in the Hofbrau tent (apparently also dubbed the Aussie tent). Again we arrived early to secure a table (if you don't have ...

Back on the coach and we arrive in Munich around 6. Our plan for the night was to have a quick look in the main square and then proceed directly to the hofbrähhaus, a nearby beer hall. And an awesome one for that. We had pork knucklebone with crackling ...

... us. The pretzels were amazing by the way. Then there was a live band playing authentic German songs. Mostly drinking songs. Like the song that I'm pretty sure is called Prost (cheers if you remember). Then there was this one song that had a dance so we all stood up on the benches and the girls next to us taught us what to do. That song is still stuck in my head. It was so much fun. Then every 5 minutes someone would stand up on a table and chug the rest of their stein and ...
