... happy tummy’s and watching the world roll by. We also noticed that the cafe made the most of the scaffolding out the front - they had a sign offering a free espresso if you could do 10 chin-ups! One guy gave it a go (and succeeded) while we were there.

... what Dachau Concentration Camp truly has to share with the world, underneath its dominant image as a place of pain and suffering. And while I simply cannot explain fully how this second trip has internally affected me, or affected my perceptions and understanding of the Holocaust, I firmly believe that those changes emerged as a direct result of standing on the camp grounds, and seeing it in person. I encourage you all to visit Dachau someday as well.

... I had a spare seat next to me and a great view from seat 11A. There was even a nice pink tinge in the sky the sun fighting to make its mark on the day. Within 2 mins of flying it was gone. ... this stage? We pulled into the lay-by area and got out of the car. As it was going to be a quick stop, I didn’t bother to find my jacket and put it on (big mistake) and we walked over to the railings and looked out towards the Viaduct, to see a big mass of white!
