The weather today was not quite the blue skies and hot weather that the last few days have been, but more a welcome rainy day. Which was nice for my necklace of sunburn.  But before I get too far into my day I need to rant to anyone who travels or will travel...IF YOU ARE SHARING A ROOM WITH SOMEONE AND YOU NEED TO BE UP EARLY, IT IS NOT POLITE TO BANG YOUR BAG AROUND AND MAKE A FUSS AT 4AM AND TURN ...

... can drive 10 minutes away from the city area and be in the country side. On the way to the woods we saw lots of farms with cows and horses. In the woods we saw lots of these colorful beetles on the ground and they were actually kind of cool. After the woods we got in the car and drove back and on the way back it's soo pretty because you can see the skyline of the city. Before going directly back to her house we drove around her neighborhood.

... large part of the urban area would of been damaged. Despite the 16 year of dismantling, during both world wars the remaining Bock casements and "Petruse Valley' in front had the capacity to protect 35,000 people, so I dare say after walking up and down several long spiral staircases and going through the long, long passages with all the galleries that remain and the Valley outside I was ready for a sit down after..lol. It was a very impressive place to explore and the work gone ...
