      ... booths plus the huge beer tents. Some tents hold 3000, others 7000 people. We checked out the sites before finding a tent around 1230. We went into Schutzen feftzelt.       ... in Munich, really managing to relax in the Hotel Asemann in Planegg. The breakfast is fab and we stock up for the day with yummy German goodies.       ... had a translation of all the info in English; the displays were excellent, eg. many motor bike models suspended in layers over 2 floors and gleaming examples of ancient & modern cars. Must have taken hours to polish them!
