      ... a tent, a sleeping bag, boxes, packages, and much, much more all eventually made its way out of the car and into my house.

      And, oh, how glorious to step into my house again! Yes, there is still much to do and much to put away and organize... But how lovely my little plants have gotten in my absence! How the little blue plates that line the wall still make me smile! How happy Bella is to see me again! How pleased I am to be sitting at my own kitchen table!

      ... the sector (but not necessarily for my project) is the huge number of initiatives in this area. For example, before Christmas I had a phone call with a Silicon Valley lawyer well connected with groups working on impact investments. At the time, he had listed some 37 new impact funds in development! When I caught up with him yesterday, he said that number had grown to 69!

      The good news on that particular front is that 2 groups are already compiling data bases of impact ...

      ... bushed but this guy fancied himself as a comedian, singer, politician etc! So after the first failed joke and first few bars to something, he'd lost me (and a few others too as I could tell from the fleeting glances passed between friends and families).
