... palace at the same time and the looks we would get as they passed by us were more than a distraction to me. It’s fascinating to me how fascinated they are with us, and nothing about the stares are subtle.

On Sunday we flew to Hyderabad, leaving our home for the week, the Sheraton. It was a bit sad leaving as the staff were absolutely amazing, treating us like gold. Besides the personal note to "Mr. Dallyn" in my room the cleaning boy left for me, there was ...

Packing my belongings at the hotel felt surreal. I feel as though I belong here now. I'm comfortable in the city and in the Hyderabad offices. Today I'm going to savor every moment. I shared a cab to the offices with another colleague whom I hadn't met before. He is moving here permanently from the Dublin, California office. He's been here a month and waiting for school to end for his wife and children to join him. His 12- and ...

To say I am exhausted would be a dramatic understatement. Oh boy what a day it has been. Sweat too. Its hot here that's for sure. Especially when you are walking around your 3,200 acre campus trying to figure out the best way to get to buildings and how early to leave-- impossible.   We once again were combining with the Dartmouth group. We were to meet Sayantan at the Tea Cup Junction. This is an area on campus where there is a little statue of teacups. It was about a ...

... so fully of energy and life. He kept giving me hugs and smiling peacefully. Almost as excited to have visitors in her home was her humongous Great Dane. I am pretty sure that Gabe was just as nervous as the dog because it was about his size!

Our cooking class was wonderful! There was great company, scrumptious food, and lots to learn about how Indian food is made.
