Short and busy 12 day trip for my 2 week vacation in third year of residency. Initially decided to visit sister in SFO but since it's been 4 years she visited India, we both planned to visit at the same time, co-incidentally for Pranav's 5th birthday. I also saw little children sitting on the lap of the person driving, no big deal.....!?! I saw ladies in sarees driving scooters and as many as 8 - 10 people in the auto rickshaws (which is basically the “cabs” of India.) At a stop light, across the entire road (just on the one side of traffic) you may see as many as ...

... We all started our task and most of us were sweating profusely though the temperature was fine and after a long time I could hear my Heart Beating fastly and louder. And I noticed one thing that one person was applying traditional Kumku to all the steps which made me think that this place was great and had a significant influence in the lives of Devotees.

As we reached the Top, We found that the main temple was closed. Hence we took a small break and then we ...
