Must admit, it doesnt seem to have changed much over the years, really good value for the price and very good location.
Kept beautifally clean by the multitudes of staff.

Oh how we were going to miss Asia!! Thankfully (for me!!) the airport was much quieter for our return trip to Singapore.

Cat grabbed her pashmina from Kuala Lumpur and Ally was given one for his legs too. We set off along the road but as we approached saw that everyone was in white (Ally had a dark t shirt on), and it looked very important and busy. Unsure of what was actually ...

... run bar/restaurant with very cheap prices and a lovely owner who gave us lots of information and advice about the area and islands! We indulged in an hour massage each across the road for 3.50! The next day we caught the Parama bus through Ubud to Padang Bai. The journey took 3 hours although we were told just over an hour, it cost 120,000 (4 each). Again the drive was amazing, we passed through the most gorgeous countryside, temples and villages. ...

Unfortunately, the gods don't take the offerings for themselves and hence make them disappear, and so they linger on wherever they were left. In the city, the chickens and rats help the slow decay of time to make them disappear, with no extra help needed. The beaches, however, have to be kept clean for the tourists, so platoons ...
