... is unbelievable you are mesmerized. The pressure of the water has erroded the falls which have reseded or fallen away by seven miles since first dicovered by a french explorer Father Hennepin in 1678. We went in the main centre to do our first tour Journey Behind the Falls (they swipe your Adventure Pass you wear around your neck). You get in a lift and go down about 170ft through tunnels to see glimpses of the water ...
... the winery which was much shorter than the tours in South America. We did learn that the only difference in the production of ice wine compared to normal wine was the time of picking.
Our visit to Inniskillen was perhaps the most exciting of the day. Somehow, we managed to get Ashton who never has a drink to drink a couple of the wines we were tasting! Not that he was particularly impressed by it.

... that’s hard to imagine without witnessing it. And the nice thing about Niagara Falls is just how close you can get to the Falls; you’re RIGHT THERE.
Our tour included a trip on ‘The Maid of the Mist,’ the famous boat that takes you right to the base of the falls so you can feel the force of the spray on you. And for this, you have to don a very sexy blue raincoat that sticks to you like cling wrap as soon as you get wet; ...

Tomorrow I take my $1 bus back to Toronto in the late afternoon and get on my VIA train which leaves about 11 pm.. It will be a 2-1/2 day trip to Jasper, Alberta where I will get off for 2 nights. I am going to try and update my blog while on the train and then copy it over to send but we will see.

Even if you are 100% sure that you won’t change your itinerary, don’t schedule anything too far in advance because you will change your itinerary
Don’t make reservations with the Eurail pass until you get to the train station to leave. It is a waste of money and you don’t get the money back when you sleep through the train…every single time.
