We all met at the Ft. Myers Airport at 1:30PM. Everyone was excited and some of the students were a little nervous! After checking in our baggage, we took a few photos and headed to security. We made it through and waved good bye to our families. We boarded the plane and were on our way! Skylar did a great job for a first time flyer! In Atlanta, we took the underground train to ...

We had a big hearty breakfast to fuel us and made our way to the Gulf Coast Visitor Center to rent a kayak for the day. We decided to rent a double kayak as it was cheaper than getting 2 separate ones and it made for good teamwork. We packed tons of food and water, checked our map and hopped in. We had ...

The drive to our 1pm tour was pretty uneventful other than stopping what seemed like every couple of miles to pay yet another Florida highway toll (Florida is by far the champion state when it comes to tolls). As we approached Everglades City we started to see signs warning us about "Panther Crossings" which was a little worrying. We later found out that Floridians call Mountain Lions, Panthers. So no need to worry about getting attacked by a massive black cat if your ...
