... mangrove roots. It was really fun to do and beautiful. We stopped paddling a couple times but the area was pretty mosquitoey and every time we were still they attacked us. When we got to a little opening in the water we both had to pee. Although the water was only 1 foot deep, neither of us wanted to get out of the boat and there was nowhere to pull to shore since everything was made of mangrove roots. So we did the only thing we could and peed off the side of the kayak. ...

... we broke camp and packed the car before heading off to Miami to try and sort out our remaining visa issues.
