Another long day under our belts. After some confusion about direction, the group hit the back roads first thing this morning and we road the curves until 3:30 pm. We finished hwy 219 at Lewiston and someone suggested we change our route to hwy 60 to Charleston and then get on I64 to Lexington (next town). By 3:30 pm, we were ...

From Charleston, we pretty much followed I-64 into Kentucky and on to Lexington. Shortly after getting into Kentucky, we entered the Boone National Forest. No sign of Daniel, though. We were surprised at how forested and hilly this part of Kentucky was.

Today we'll be driving to Sandusky (the place, not the person...I'm not a fan of prisons) just west of Cleveland, and on the way we'll stop at what I hope is an interesting attraction in Nowhereville, Ohio.
... friends back home. I am safely in the Lexington Airport waiting to start this adventures. We stopped by the Keenland racetracks as well for a quick outdoor outing because we were pretty early for the non-crowded Lexington airport. Although the salutations were tough, this is my time to grow and develop as an individual...and don't worry, Ill be back!!
