... blog on our last trip, I took another photo of the backyard. It's greener and prettier as Spring is here, dry, but here. The flowers are blooming and the leaves are soaking up the sun.

... are clogged, Old Sacramento is gimmicky, and that there is basically nothing to do here. For shame! The city is beautiful, surrounded everywhere by Victorian houses and mansions for god’s sake. The more I discover of it the more I enjoy. It is definitely quiet, but it’s a city, there are plenty of things to do here. I could write a better wrap than that. For shame.

... Lois had one of the best breakfasts that we have had in that pub, can't say I don't treat her well, even if she did have to move the camper when it went to extra time! Anyway after some strange American soccer sayings, and off tune chants, we had won, and the pub went crazy! Talking to some of them, they formed a few years ago and they even turn up at 4 am to this pub to watch some of the games! Anyhow, we then had the rest of the day to actually explore ...
... and it was a wonderful day getting away and enoying the wonderful weather.
From Minnesota we headed west and stopped for a day in the Southern side of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It is a very nice park with tons of Buffalo. We got stopped on the road by a bull buffalo walking down leading a pack of cars. Cute! He then stopped and decided to scratch himself by rolling around in the dirt and making a major dust cloud. ...
... got when I told people I was leaving because they were incredulous that those were really the only two real requirements:
Speaking the language in country you want to teach in? – Helpful but not necessary.
Teaching degree? – Will get you a higher paying job but the jobs will also be harder to find.
TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certifications? – Really depends on the country and ...
