... up some time and hopped on to I-90. The Mississippi bridge was under construction and were able to pull over onto the work lane to snap a few Photos. After gassing up off the highway we decided to take Route 14 W. to New Ulm Minnesota. Tomorrow we are off to Hill City South Dakota which is about 520 miles away. Good news, we heard from our friends and they made it safely to South Dakota. 345 /- ...

Last night we had a dinner in Badlands National Park, leaving for New Ulm, Minnesota at sundown. After our all night drive we pulled into a beautiful park, with swimming pool and showers. Charles cooked a great breakfast of "toad in the hole" American style which is bread with a hole cut in the middle with egg dropped in and fried with sliced cheese. Wonderful.
