There are a number of walking trails along the wildlife drive but dogs are required to stay in the car for obvious reasons so we were only able to drive the loop. We were a bit late for the alligator sunning season and only ended up spotting three gators. Although I was a bit disappointed at least we got to see a few in their natural habitat. By mid afternoon we were leaving the refuge and on our way to Savannah.
Yesterday was a long day of travel. I went for a another short walk first thing and ate breakfast. My people packed up all the things we'd taken into the nice place we'd stayed overnight - then they left!
