... to Old Town for dinner. This is the part of San Diego where people lived even before California was a state. There were many old building for us to see, a big grassy space with gigantic trees, a flagpole and a cannon. Mexican food was on our mind so we waited outside the Casa de Reyes and watched some dancers before our table was ready. We ate outside while lights started twinkling in the trees and in the sky. ... same plan, and very little people working at the gates. Thankfully our group was all together so we didnt have to wait too long after we got through.
On the way home we stopped at San Diego for 30mins, and again found ourselves in another tourist trap. I swear the US is made up of these things all over the country. Anyways, got back around 10pm and was completely exhausted, but looking back, it was a truly amazing place.
