... Warrior berthed near my hotel and, of course, Legend of the Seas which had just arrived in the San Diego harbor.

As I walk here I ask myself why I do not live here. Great weather, great restaurants and bars, boats everywhere, the water and friendly people all combine to make this a great city. On board Legend, I see that it is like most ships.

... on the beach,writing my travel log and closing my eyes in the warm foggy air that is the norm here. Planes were so loud and low that you felt you could reach up and touch them, but the cloud was so thick you couldn't see them. The all day ghost planes was getting quite annoying- I just wanted to see one!

We walked through the main little high street and it was full of weird herb shops and surfing clothes. You needed a beard and tattoos to fit in here combined ...

I took a few pics of our cabin. It is a nice size for us. We emptied back packs, hung the shoe caddy over the outside of the bathroom door and began loading it up. I heard about this on cruise critic and it has been a lifesaver for keeping our cabin and bathroom neat.
