Today we had our first Korean breakfast. Very different to a traditional Aussie breakfast. We had a type of fried rice with a fried egg on top served with a bowl of chilli tofu soup. You use the rice to help break down the chilli. We also had a bowl of green salads and a bowl of fruit. The breakfasts have been great but too large for us. We managed to eat most of it but couldn't finish the soup.

... The hostel is a really nice place. Prolly one of the best hostels I've stayed in and I'm lucky enough to be working here. Kind of thinking it'd be nice to be here longer than a month, then again I've been spending money a bit fast, especially on alcohol. Oh well can't help the essentials right. The only downfall of the hostel is it's location, in the gas lamp area. Good for bars however bit far from the beach. Anyway that's it for now. Cheers, ...

The polar bears really were beautiful, and the zoo staff said they were hopeful that one of the bears was pregnant which is of course great on a world scale for the population of polar bears. Isaac's favourite animal was the gorilla's who we got to witness the shift change in. Pulled in to Coronado, San Diego for an extended visit. I was really looking forward to it. First night saw me, Rab, Dale, Stan, Martin, Tudor, Stevie Tease and Ains go to Phil's Barbecue for tea. Had to queue for a while but it was worth it. I had a full beef rib dinner. We then found a sports bar called the Tilted Kilt right next to the San Diego Padres' Stadium. There happened to be a game on that night so we saw the stadium all lit up and soaked up some of the atmosphere. We went in ...

In the morning Ian and Jo gave us a case and Ians suit to take to Marks, to save them carrying it round for a week, they are off to San Fran and las Vegas before getting to Marks next week..
