We cooked up salmon, rib eye, corn and pasta with provisions picked up in Erie, PA, and then had big family hugs and a big cry from Amy (who would turn right around and drive back west if given the chance) as we talked about what a great trip it has been.     ... I was past Illinois, it wasn't too bad. There's roadworks in every state, which is normal for this time of year anyway, but worse this year because President Obama released infrastructure funding for transport, so all of the states are digging up roads and train lines, which is great in the long term, but a pain to drive through.
