Pulled in around 2:30. Glad not to have another extended trip time anytime soon. We had a wonderful trip. Great friends to travel with, would definitely get the Special Ed Posse together again anytime, just not back to Alaska! Statistics are a bit sketchy, but by my feeble calculations, we did the following:

... cool and inviting with all the sea-doos and boats. When we got to the bottom of the lake we saw the dam.

Back to the store and then the motorhome. It wasn't as hot as yesterday so we did sit out for about 30 minutes then inside until early evening.

Time to start packing up for our last day or two on the road.

We were privileged to be able to attend Andy's awards presentation ceremonies today at Hudson Elementary School. It's always a proud moment to celebrate all the children's academic achievement awards, but especially so those of my grandchildren! Andy received awards doe Academic Achievement, Reading and Math Mastery and a special Leadership awards!! Job well done grandson!! Job WELL done! You make me so proud!! ...

... just north of Cornelius, called Eddie’s Raw Bar. It had outdoor dining and we could see Lake Norman. We were able to take the dogs with us on the patio. They weren’t as dog savvy as the place we went to last night but it was no problem to have them there. We used their finest china as water bowls since they didn’t offer us anything else.

They had some specials on Tuesday, one of which was oysters. Alan said that sounded good so ...

... this campground was one of the best. Not only was it the least expensive, but it was well maintained, had plenty to do nearby, had a great dog park, was nicely shaded, had paved spaces, and had reliable Wi-Fi, which is a rare commodity in our experience.

Since the park was almost vacant, all I had to do to hook up the Jeep was to pull out onto the road in front of our space and stop. Once we had the Jeep safely attached we headed for the ...
