... it was 101 feet deep. The best thing about the place is that we saw the sockeye salmon trying to make their way up the Fraser. I can’t explain how difficult this is when you see how strong the water is. They have fish ladders on both sides which appear to help a little bit but the salmon are getting hammered against the rock walls. Some of them have already turned pink but others are still black. Ritchie was not looking out the widow. Amy would have been on the floor or hiding in the bathroom. I just try and keep it going between the white and center yellow lines. Not much time to sight-see for me.

Harrison Hot Springs and Canadian singers

... got me. I haven't been able to sleep some nights knowing I haven't got any Michael Buble or Paul Anka or Neil Young. And of course, the most unforgivable of omissions...Justin Bieber. I don't know how they let us in the country without checking our Bieber knowledge. Not that we've seen much of him here...although I thought we passed his older, less successful brother the other day skateboarding down the road. Grown men do that here you know. So we arrive in Harrison just ...
