... Triumph motorcycles, drug- and booze-fueled travels with him on his Harley and brushes with the law. Her stamina was amazing - I think you would have had to shoot her to shut her up, something that had probably occurred to the long-suffering boyfriend on more than one occasion.

Finally Jim arrived, we loaded the Triumph onto the back of the truck and the rest of us set off quickly before Tracey could ...

    Day 5

Bit blurry eyed this morning and we get on the road about 830 . Scottys bike has been fixed and is running ok (or seems to be). 400 miles to do today to get to the other side of Houston so mainly riding on the interstate. Blimey it is very hot and humid again.

Not much to report for the main part of today - we spent time at Ben's office doing Skype calls to home.

Having been unable to meet up with Monike and Karim the previous week, they were very kind and invited us over at short notice in the evening. We stopped off at Specs where I'd seen they sold Choya - the Japanese plum liqueur drink - and wanted to get them a bottle of that.

    They don't live ...
