It is a house built by a totally eccentric Alex Jordan, and it opened in 1959, he built it on a rock, then added a series of rooms and sheds & collected and built the most amazing & bizarre things. ... Most of the show was explaining to the audience exactly how they were able to train them to do tricks through positive re-enforcement although I don't know if I quite agree with animal entertainment these days.
