... for us was on the far side so even though we had been staring at the wall for a while we still had 500 meters to go. When we arrived the guard informed us it was closed and to come back tomorrow. ... activity has a "shopping component". Everyone has a means of getting potential customers into their business: be it a gem store, clothing manufacturer and even restaurants. Tourists are literally taken for a ride. Two tier price structure; one for the locals and guess who the other one is for. ... It was a really neat sight to see. We wandered around Wat Pho for a few hours. Sitting in as many temples as we could. Truly soaking up the experience. I honestly have never felt as spiritual as I do now; blame it on transformation due to experience and travel, but I feel it also has a lot to do with the Buddhist way of life. There is so much to learn, and a lot more to put into practice.

Bangkok you busy *******, we love you and we will see you again.

We then headed for the Golden Mountain Temple where you get panaromic views of the city but before we got their we were approached by a thai man who was friendly at first and then began to tell us the temple is closed as it is a Buddhist holiday but we know different mr chow!!
