Had enough walking - so caught a taxi to the hospital. The angiogram is now set for 4pm.

The Thais have an almost obsessional interest in food- from street vendors feeding what seems like masses - there are tables and chairs along the roads where they eat the food - must be ok as they all eat it (no refrigeration??) - to middle of the road restaurants, then the super top end - magazines ...

... our flight.

On on arriving in Bangkok, we were met by the transfer company. The lady who met us was gorgeous ... she kept bowing and saying 'Thank you' and 'Welcome to Thailand'. She took us to a waiting mini bus to transfer us to our hotel. The trip to the hotel was most interesting (and a little nerve wracking) ... obviously indicators are only required when there is no gap available and whilst the roads ...

... which is typically in the early morning. After a couple of hours it was back into the taxi to head back in other direction to Ancient Siam. I had not heard of it before but it's a great place to visit. I had envisaged tiny replicas of temples that we would tower over, feeling like giants, much like model villages I visited back home as a child.
