    ... After that we bought mango and raspberry sorbets from Koko and sat at the entrance to eat them. Same spot as the day before. We had to be back at the hotel to meet the others at 4 pm so we started to walk back. It did not take long. We even had time for a quick shower before we left. We caught the bus to the centre of town, had dinner at a restaurant at the top of a shopping centre then walked down to the theatre to watch the cultural opera show. ...

    ... giant pandas, adolescent giant pandas, baby giant pandas, and also a bunch of different red pandas too. They say that the pandas are only active in the morning and sleep the rest of the day, but I think because of the earthquake they were a little jittery, or as jittery as a panda can be.     ... was quite entertaining because I felt like I've just been the learner with my travels, trying to obesrve and take in everything, and here I am in China...teaching 3 people how to play Texas Hold'em, Blackjack and Go Fish. My friends really got a kick out of Go Fish because it was a game that was completely foreign to them. For once in about 2 weeks, I found something that I was an expert to play GO FISH!

    Although we took our time getting up again we did make it to Leshan to see the Giant Buddha. We hopped on a bus to one of the long distance bus stations in Chengdu, with our note in chinese describing where we want to go on it that we got from our hostel, and bought our tickets. They ended up giving us tickets for a mini bus instead of the big public bus which cost a bit more but it took us right to the park where the buddha is at so ...
