    ... 196 km ph! Straight to the panda reserve aww unbelievable experience We are now sitting in the airport waiting to fly to Guilin. Wonderful to get some decent WIFI at last!     ***We later found out that the area we were supposed to visit was the site of a massive landslide caused by the rain. At least 40 people were buried in the slide. We were very lucky to have arrived after they had closed the attraction. It could have very easily been us. The rains have been going on nonstop for almost 24 hours, and another 48 are predicted. They are being described as the worst rainstorm in 20 years.

    We are now in Chengdu, the only reason we are here is to see pandas, I can see pandas in any zoo, they aren't even in the wild here, and it’s a breeding program

    ... fish/amphibian house. I saw so many kinds of fish I've never in my life seen before, and some were perhaps the weirdest creatures I ever seen, period.

    Next was the reptile house, which was very interesting. I saw some crocodiles and plenty of snakes, although there was a lack of lizards. I also saw some turtles (some of which were on display, and others which were for sale in small tubs).
