A morning of another delicious hot breakfast followed by second coats on the paint jobs we started yesterday. We then were given Subway for lunch and since there wasn't much left to be done with the paint crew, I switched groups to help put up the wood siding on another house. I think siding has become my favorite construction project. It's such a team effort-measure, cut, position, nail. And, I got to use a nail gun for the first time today. I felt ...

... hammering, fitting, sawing. I did a lot of sawing. We put up plywood for the walls and I sawed out the windows and doors. It's been so interesting watching and participating in how these homes are built. When I have my own home, way in the future, should I decided to build it, I think I'd like to be involved in it's development. Certainly when I get back to Atlanta I'll become involved with my local Habitat affiliate. Showers at the Y. Nap on the bus ride home (see pic). Watch ...

AND Greek yogurt and fruit! I haven't had Greek yogurt until I left home, and it's been sorely missed in my life. -Stop to see local landmarks (see picture). -Building ...

... disgusting. Although I teach spinning recreationally, I am by no means a cyclist. Breezer does an amazing job coaching and teaching about biking techniques, and has patience of a saint with me from answering questions about shifting gears and changing tire tubes. We hauled tail (not sure if she keeps it PG or not) and finished 40mi in 2hr and maintained 19mph average, and called it a day! We then shuttled rest of way and are ...

... house. The steak, potatoes, and all the rest of the chow was GREAT!! That was only the second home made meal we had eaten so far on our journey, the last one being back in Etna, CA at Uncle Leroy's and Aunt Marilyn's. So, you can be assured it was most appreciated Rhonda, and all who helped contributed. Thanks MUCH! We reconnected with family, friends, and very much enjoyed catching up on all that had ...
