We have reached the end of June and are now in Washington!
This morning, we walked about Sandpoint a bit before we left. It is a quaint little town of about 7,000 people that swells with tourists to the nearby lake in the short summer season. It is (was) also home to the now bankrupt Coldwater Creek company. We stopped at a Military Surplus store and bought a couple small items. The store owner asked us about our Living Science shirts, ...
... he was! I guess that he has to make his own amusement ! it must be lonely driving long distance trucks.
Tomorrow we will drive through Spokane , and across Idaho into Montana. We hope to stop in Arlee to see the temple of the 1000 Buddhas, and then we will decide if we want to go to Glacier National Park before going back down south to Stevensville to see Ralph's aunt and uncle.

I brought a project that I didn't even touch so now I will work on it at home. And that's ok- I've learned what I can do in the time that we are in one place.
We know we will go to Portland ...
... The campground is overlooking either a lake or reservoir, gotta find out which, and it is a a great spot. We arrived on a Saturday so there is quite a bit of water activity going on, makes sitting and watching the view more interesting. There are a lot of young people here boating and having fun. Tomorrow we will go venture out and see what is happening in this area. We did notice that across the lake it seems very bare of any plant ...
