The Free shuttle from the airport is not free

We chose this hotel primarily because it was close to the airport with a free shuttle. We called for the shuttle, and not only did it take 30 minutes for it to arrive but it was $2.00 per person.

We were really beat after 10 hours of flying, but It was just too hard to give up those tailwinds. After a quick over nite at the hospitable FBO in Lawrenceburg, we made it to Herlong Field in JAX by 10 AM. So now sporting a new 3 bladed CS prop from ...

Oh hello again, travel blog! Surely if I have found myself here again, that can only mean that...

Yes, I am going on another adventure. This time, I'm on my way to the beautiful islands of Okinawa! This is my biggest adventure yet because this adventure will go on for THREE LONG YEARS. I am ridiculously excited, obviously.

Per tradition, I once again find myself writing a blog entry the day before my adventure begins. I'm ...

... A quick meal followed and even though Hooters had a restaurant on the river bank, it was decided to be an inappropriate venue for dinner and we chose a more low key restaurant at Jacksonville Landing on the riverfront. (To be fair, Hooters looked like a complete dive!)

A water taxi to replace the return bridge walk finished off the day and we all crashed!
