The Free shuttle from the airport is not free

We chose this hotel primarily because it was close to the airport with a free shuttle. We called for the shuttle, and not only did it take 30 minutes for it to arrive but it was $2.00 per person.

The old pictures on the wall is so interesting to see such a huge pool that had once been a ballroom turned into a pool. When we walked in to see the pool we were suprised. What we saw at the far end was a restrutrant. Along the side walls were shops. It was neat to take pictures in the middle of what was once the middle of ...

    • Good morning, here I am again, early morning talking to you. I hope you had a very good day yesterday like we had. When I got up yesterday morning I thought we were going to have a bad day because we were having cold and rain. But as it turned out the weather the weather didn't bother us. After meeting up with my new best friend in the lobby of the hotel we mingled with the other people that are on the bus. I can't say enough ...

Daniel is a firefighter and he works at the fire station on Perkins road close to where I live in facts that station is where my son, Ronnie years ago put a new roof. It's really nice to have someone like Daniel on the bus because of his medical background with the firefighters. To get back to the bingo game I almost won the blackout, no such luck. ...

... Handing out rosemary and the "homemade" poppies, it started to feel like an ANZAC Day from home.

As the sun rose to bring about the new day, the service concluded and we all travelled back to NAS Jacksonville to show the American's what a gunfire breakfast was all about.

The day ended with us all having a BBQ and a game of Two-up at the base picnic area.

    LEST WE FORGET.
