The Free shuttle from the airport is not free

We chose this hotel primarily because it was close to the airport with a free shuttle. We called for the shuttle, and not only did it take 30 minutes for it to arrive but it was $2.00 per person.

    Taking Off

Today is the day! Jonathan, Keith, Charlie and I are heading to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Jonathan and I did some grocery shopping last night and all I have to say is we are set in the snack department. Dropping Baxter off at Pet Paradise this morning was, as usual, a little sad. He didn't fuss but I got "The Look" as he rounded the corner out of my view. I am picking up the van at 12:30 after work then off we go! Stay tuned for more interesting posts and ...

Whew, we did it! We managed to get everything out of our house, thanks to Mayflower Movers. We had a great team, two of which we will see in China Lake, CA. on October 2nd. Only thing left in the house is our fourteen year old cat, Maddie. We will pick her up in the morning then pick the girls up from the doggie spa, they will be so excited and very confused when we don't return to their house. As I sat in the ...

The young lady and I laughed, and even cried when we talked about how much we would be missing our church and small groups. God has a plan for all of us, we reminded each other as we spoke. They are moving from Alabama, and will also be searching for a new church family. The couple returned to the real estate office, all of ...

The packing crew has been here since 9am, there are three of them and they're amazing. Dust is flying everywhere they move so fast. All three seem to be in their mid twenties, very pleasant. For some reason Randy does not want me talking to them and he apologizes to them when I do so. The dogs, Georgia and Jersey, are staying at the spa for the next three nights. Maddie, our fourteen year old scaredy ...

... that's okay, we are happy to rent her to a loving new family. This must be part of our journey to return to Kings Bay in two short years. I'm not forgetting about SECC Discipleship tonight. I believe in what my church is doing to educate my beautiful friends of God to reach out to the community and each other and share the Word of The Lord. I miss my time with them....another heart aching time coming soon. I will always have my Southeast Community Church, and ...
