    ... tried a new (to me) cocktail, called a Pimms #1...very tasty. Sandy and I shared a steak while Laura and Kevin shared a cheeseburger. Outstanding food. A bit pricey, but we are on vacation!

    Back to the hotel where Laura took Kevin swimming (again) while Sandy read and I blogged. Tomorrow we start "touristing" in earnest. Even with a nap, I'll sleep well tonight. More tomorrow!

    ... around and you think "This right here, right now is a perfect moment". I did not want it to end! I haven't had too many of these moments and I still remember that feeling I had when I basically did a 360 turn and took it all in.









    Left about midday the next day headed back to NYC but I will not forget my 24 hours in Philly and I hope to go back soon to explore more of this amazingly diverse city.

    ... about 15 minutes before we realized what we thought had been layers of mud at the center of the alleyway was actually...poop. Lots and lots of dog poop. Imagine, being stuck in a block long, 4 foot wide space with that much smelly #2! I think someone threw up at one point.
